Malina Mršić, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on December 27, 1940 in Čelebići near Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to father Šćepan and mother Cvijeta Avramović. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved wife of Savo; loving mother of Siniša, Snježana and Bilja; proud grandmother of Stefan (Katarina) and Jelena; fond sister of Mitar Avramović; caring aunt of Srdjan, Bojan, Savo and Miodrag.

Malina’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by families Mršić, Avramović, Cvijović, Simić, Dordić and Gligorević as well as by numerous other family members and dear friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) took place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), took place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
