Savo Damjanovic 1940-2026

Savo Damjanović, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Born on October 7, 1940, in Modrica, Republika Srpska, to father Gosto and mother Ruza Petković. Memory eternal!

Dearly beloved husband of Nada, loving father of Dejan and Srdjan; proud grandfather of Luka and Vuk.

Savo’s kind and generous heart will be greatly missed by numerous other family members and dear friends in Bosnia- Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo( Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) will take place on Wednsday, April 15th,2026 at 12 noon at the Greenwood Cemetery, 1011 Auburn St. Rockford, IL 61103.
